Please email Kaplanes@aol.com with questions or comments. We enjoy helping others learn this wonderful hobby so do not hesitate to ask any questions and we will try to assist you. There are a lot of great forums out there that will help with learning about helis and parts, etc. We do have much time to post on them, but we do work with our emails and customer questions. It doesn't cost a penney to ask for and receive help.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mike ________________________________________________________________

There are lots of ways to learn to fly and specifically, to hover. There are a couple of very popular sites that are well known for helping lots of folks learn to fly. I put this together based on my own learning and teaching experiences and after reading lots and lots of material on the subject. It was unfortunate (and costly) that I did not read or research flying techniques before I learned to hover.
The most interesting part is though it seemed to take me forever to learn to fly, my son, Mike Jr., who is in his 20's learned very fast. I started him on a Lama coax and he was almost immediately addicted to helis and flew it whenever he could. After he mastered flying the coax heli I had him fly it on the patio during some windy conditions and he had to work harder to control it. Afterwards, we went to the garage for the first CP hover test with a Falcon 3D. I gave him some basic counseling and he spun up the blades and immediately went into a hover about 4 feet high and controlled it quite nicely. I do not think he had much more natural talent then me, but he was armed with some basic knowledge that helped him and hopefully some of it will help you too.
